In their chasteningówe are chastened. In their sufferingsówe suffer. Give us tender sympathyóto watch and to alleviate. In the sick chamberómay we be gentleness and love. Grant Your blessing to all the remedies, which, trusting in You, we use. If it is Your gracious will, arrest the malady, and may the voice of health and gladness again gladden our dwelling.
