'''Bible doctrines affected by modern versions'''
<p>1Thess 1:1 "<strong><em>from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ"</em></strong> <strong>is dropped</strong>.
Are we to think that grace and peace is bestowed by Paul? No, that is not within his power. They have their source in the Father and the Son.</p>
<p>1Thess 5:27 "<strong><em>holy</em></strong>" <strong>is dropped from before</strong> "<strong><em>brethren</em></strong>."
Paul had other brethren according to the flesh who were not saved (Rom. 9:1-3; 10:1).
These were sanctified and preserved brethren and they were "holy" because they were accepted in the beloved.</p>

Executive Summary
Scroll for more ↓The modern versions of the Bible have altered core theological doctrines, impacting our understanding of God's character and our salvation. For instance, 1Thessalonians 1:1 and 5:27 omit phrases that highlight divine origin, diminishing the role of Paul in conveying these truths. This change reflects a shift away from the biblical emphasis on God's sovereignty, instead placing more emphasis on human effort. As a result, we must reevaluate our understanding of salvation, recognizing it originates from God's love and acceptance, not human achievement.
