Almost everyone has sung the song. Perhaps you are familiar with the scripture from which it was taken. Kids love to sing it. What is it?
I have found a friend in Jesus, He's everything to me
He's the fairest of ten thousand to my soul.
The Lily of the Valley, in Him alone I see
All I need to cleanse and make me fully whole.
In sorrow He's my comfort, in trouble He's my stay
He tells me every care on Him to roll
He's the Lily of the Valley, the Bright and Morning Star
He's the fairest of ten thousand to my soul
You may have noticed the phrase '''"Bright and Morning Star''' in the second to the last line above. It is taken from the book of Revelation 22:16 '''"I Jesus have sent mine angel to testify unto you these things in the churches. I am the root and the offspring of David, and the bright and morning star" Is Jesus the morning star?''' Then why do we find the following in the NIV in Isaiah 14:12? "How you have fallen from heaven, O morning star, son of the dawn! You have been cast down to the earth, you who once laid low the nations!"
'''SHOCKED!?''' You should be. In the NIV, Lucifer has not been cast out of heaven, JESUS CHRIST HAS!
How could that happen? Think for a moment. The word of God is hated by Satan. Romans 10:17 clearly states: "So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God". If Satan can corrupt the word of God, then faith will be poisoned, and more souls will end up in the Lake of fire. Has Satan been in the "Bible corrupting business" long? Well for starters, in the garden of Eden, he spoke to Eve saying "Yea, hath God said . . ." He was attempting to cast doubt in Eve's mind as to the truth of God's word. The Apostle Paul, in 2 Corinthians 2:17 says '''"For we are not as many, which corrupt the word of God: but as of sincerity, but as of God, in the sight of God speak we in Christ".''' Satan was busy in Paul's time attempting to do away with the word of God. He is just as busy today!
'''The NIV makes Jesus Christ a sinner!'''
Let's look at a verse that makes Jesus Christ a sinner. Matthew 5:22 NIV "But I tell you that anyone who is angry with his brother will be subject to judgment."''' The scripture actually reads '''"But I say unto you, That whosoever is angry with his brother without a cause shall be in danger of the judgment." Was Jesus ever angry with His brethren? Did He not in anger cast the moneychangers out of His father's house. Did He have cause? The NIV omits "without a cause". According to it, if Jesus Christ got angry, which He did, He is a sinner just like you and I. That is blasphemy! What are you going to do? Most saints will continue on in self imposed ignorance, as if to say, "don't confuse me with facts, I am comfortable where I am." That will not be the case at the Judgement Seat of Christ. Please give this some honest consideration.[[Category:Bible]]

Scroll for more ↓This study reveals a shocking truth: Jesus Christ is often misrepresented as a sinner in modern translations due to a mistranslation of Isaiah 14:12, which actually describes Lucifer's fall from heaven. The error arises when the word "morning star" is taken literally, suggesting Jesus' sinfulness. Instead, this phrase refers to Jesus' divine nature and preeminence, making Him the true Morning Star. This misinterpretation can lead to a watered-down view of Christ's divinity and potentially hinder one's faith.
