In the face of demonic opposition, Christians must not be swayed by emotions of sympathy or pity for their adversaries. Instead, they should recognize Satan's malevolent intentions and schemes, studying his tactics to understand how he operates. This awareness empowers believers to defend themselves against spiritual attacks. By being informed about demonic strategies, Christians can prepare themselves for battle and overcome the evil forces that seek to destroy them.

Never fall into the trap of feeling sorry for demons - at times they whimper and plead. Psalm 139:21-22 Do I not hate those who hate you, 0 Lord and abhor those who rise up against you ? I have nothing but hatred for them. I count them my enemies - their aim is to torment and destroy. In some ways Satan is very short on ideas, 2 Cor 2:11 In order that Satan might not outwit us. For we are not unaware of his schemes (schemes, settled war plan). In a war a good general studies his opponents; not that we seek to obtain a PhD in witchcraft (you'd then need deliverance yourself), but we need to be aware of how demons operate; how the mind is attacked, what spirits to expect to be working together, how they got in and how to recognise them.[[Category:Deliverance & Healing]]
